தேவ மனிதன் நெல்லை ஜெபராஜ் மறைந்தார்

தமிழகத்தின் தலைசிறந்த தேவ மனிதர்களில்ஒருவரான சுவிசேஷகர் நெல்லை ஜெபராஜ் கடந்த 19.04.10 அன்று தேவ மகிமைக்குள் பிரவேசித்தார்.

மிக அருமையான தேவ மனிதன். சுமார் நாற்பதுஆண்டு காலமாக தமிழகத்தின் பெந்தெகொஸ்தேசபைகளின் ஆரம்பகால வளர்ச்சிக்கு அதிகம்தேவனால் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டவர். இவர் மூலம்எழும்பிய ஊழியர்கள் ஏராளம். கட்டப்பட்டஆவிக்குரிய சபைகள் ஏராளம். தனக்கென ஒருகூட்டத்தையோ ஒரு ஊழிய நிறுவனத்தையோஏற்படுத்தாமல் தேவன் தன்னை அழைத்தஊழியத்தின் பாதையில் ஓடி ஓட்டத்தைமுடித்தவர். வெளிநாட்டு ஊழியத்திற்கு அனேகமுறை வாசல்கள் திறந்தபோதும், தேவன், என்னை இந்தியாவிற்காக அழைத்துஇருக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லி அந்த வாய்ப்புகளை ஒதுக்கி தள்ளிவிட்டுதேவனுக்காக ஓடியவர். எளிமையானவர். எளிதில் யாவரோடும் பழகக்கூடியவர்.
எனது மாமனார் குடும்பத்திற்கு மிகவும் வேண்டியவர்.
நான் ஒரு சபையில் உதவி போதகராக ஊழியம் செய்த நாட்களில், என்னைஅதிகம் உற்சாகபடுத்தியவர். அவரது மறைவு, இன்னும் அவர் இருந்தால் அநேகர்கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக சுடர் விட்டு பிரகாசிக்க ஏதுவாக இருந்திருக்குமே என்றஏக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. அந்த தேவ மனிதனின் முன்மாதிரியான வாழ்வுக்காகதேவனை துதிப்போம். 19.04.10

Rev. D.Mohan's Daughter Marriage

On 12th April, 2010, I attended the reception of the marriage of daughter of Rev.D.Mohan, All India General Superintendent, Assemblies of God Church in India. He is the Senior Pastor of New Life Assembly of God Church, little Mount(Chinnamalai), Chennai-15. He is a popular Man of God.

His daughter got married to the Son of Mrs. Nalini Selvaraj.
It was held at YMCA, Nandanam, Chennai.
As the bride's mother, Mrs. Nalini Selvaraj, is also a popular evangelist and known in political circle (Her husband Late Mr. Selvaraj was MLA), political and church leaders were present on the occasion. Our church pastor, church elder and I attended the reception.
On seeing this grand ceremony, I had a mix of thoughts on which you can freely comment on it.

1. Heavily crowded. Very nice to see "traffic jam" for a programme other than the political one.
2. People especially the congregation came in full to greet the couple
3. Variety of VIPs right from politicians, beurocrates to other church leaders were seen there.
4. It was a time of reciprocating Pastor's thanks to his congregation. Becoz, they were all along giving tithes, offerings etc to the church in the past.
5. On seeing the crowd, the politicians would have in mind to give some political post to Rev. D.Mohan, may be an MLC seat atleast, to capture the minority votes.
6. Whether true or not, it was learnt that there seemed to be shortage of food at the end, which cannot avoided.
7. Highly expensive one even though it is essential. A rough estimate may be atleast Rs. 40 to 50 lakhs

Who has to be punished....

My son wrote 3rd semester exam (BE - CSE in SSN CE) in last December '09. Results came in February '10 and declared as "failed". He applied for reevaluation by paying Rs.700/- and result of reevaluation was also same. His college professors were 100% sure, after seeing the xerox copy of his answer papers, informed that he was sure to pass. Then, he went for Challenging round by paying Rs.3000/-. Now, in the result, he has been declared as "passed" and awarded "C" grade (It seems marks between 60 & 70).

In this stage, when I asked one of my friend in Anna University, it was informed that even unqualified and other department lecturers are correcting the papers.

Can you visualize the mental agony and stress, myself and my son had gone in the last three months?. Money loss is immaterial. But, whose mistake is this and who has to be blamed for this?.

How to control Chickenpox

As summer has started with its scorching heat waves, Chickenpox is fast spreading in Tamil Nadu especially Chennai. So we have to take few steps to control Chickenpox.

1. First of all, we should understand that it is a viral disease and can be controlled by taking medicines.So, Don't has superstitious belief that it is another form of some Deity
2. It is a contagious decease which will spread in air
   
3. Once you get affected, you should isolate yourself from others - using separate utensils, towels, bed, etc.
4. Taking more fruits like Grapes, pomegranates, sapota etc. Especially Banana is good.
5. Drink Tender coconut which will cool your body.
6. Cucumber, Watermelon help you avoid dehydration
7. Take medicines with vitamins regularly.
8. Don't take heavy stuff
